Last week the TOWN team celebrated our 10th anniversary!
It was a chance to reflect on a decade of key moments and milestones that have shaped our journey. Here’s a selection of highlights from the past ten years.

Neil Murphy and Jonny Anstead set up TOWN – a profit-with-purpose developer with a mission to build good places for better lives.

TOWN, Trivselhus and a design team led by Mole, are selected by Cambridge City Council and Cambridge Cohousing to develop plot K1 in Orchard Park.

TOWN and LandsecU+I are appointed as masterdevelopers for Hartree – a 48ha new, mixed-use quarter of Cambridge – with 5,600 homes, schools, shops, workspaces and community facilities.

42 households move into Marmalade Lane. The project goes on to feature extensively in national press and in government reviews and policy guidance. It secures a RIBA National Award, the RTPI Silver Jubilee Cup and a Civic Trust award.

Love Wolverton receives planning approval for a 115-home, town centre regeneration, in partnership with Milton Keynes City Council, including the 29-home Still Green Cohousing community for over-50s.

The Crown Estate selects TOWN as development partners for one of their residential demonstration projects, to work with the local community and future residents to deliver 80 exemplary new homes in Hemel Hempstead.
TOWN begins a 10-year Place Strategy to regenerate a historic neighbourhood in central Sunderland through sustainable development and adaptive reuse.
